I have always been a photography buff.  Even as a child, I loved to get the perfect shot.  As my skills and technical expertise have grown, I have enjoyed helping friends and families capture their special events and memories.  But, I never wanted to make images that look like the same ol’ thing.  I want to catch the unique twinkle in someone’s eyes, the mischievous look, the special look of a couple in love.  I want to be known for the images that can’t exist in a mass-produced photo box.

While I do have a small photography studio, much of my work takes me to varied locations that help to tell the story of a person or an event.  These places have meaning to the subject and help them to feel at ease.  No two of my portrait sessions ever go the same.  So much depends on the rapport that the clients and I develop and their unique personalities.  I don’t want to just take a photograph.  I want to capture a special memory that conveys an individual’s unique personality.
